Stephen Bruton is a great musician, writer & producer. He's Toured with Kris Kristofferson, Bonnie Raitt and Christine McVie... .his songs have been covered by Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Little Feat, Martina McBride and Waylon Jennings... he's produced acclaimed albums for Hal Ketchum, Alejandro Escovedo and Chris Smither...he's released five great solo albums - the most recent being "From The Five" on New West Records.
I love this groove driven version of "Waiting For A Long Time" - a Bruton original that was a hit single for the Highwaymen (Cash, Waylon,Willie & Kris).
Robert Howell & The Visitors
Live from the Bluesboro club, located on the Historic Towne Square in Murfreesboro - Tennessee, (a Suburb of Nashville - "Music City USA ), Robert Howell & The Visitors rock the full house at the "Boro's" premiere live music venue. This Widespread Panic cut showcases these players' ability to deliver some Southern flavored Rock from that band from Georgia. Travis Stinson lead vocals. Josh Pessar lead guitar, John Wallum dancing on the keys, Chris Clawson bass, Adam Abrashoff drums, Billy "Bones" congas backing vocals (Bones did the location multi-trac audio for this gig) Robwert Howell guitar, vocals, front man and band leader for the Visitors.
